Dirt and dust can build up on your big-screen TV and affect its appearance and viewing quality. Most big screens being sold today are made with the LCD format, a liquid crystal display that uses pixels to create images. This type of flat panel TV is versatile – some can be mounted on a wall or placed on a stand. Most LCD televisions require few products for regular maintenance.
Instructions:

1. Turn off and unplug the big-screen TV.

2. Spray a microfiber cloth with LCD cleaner, or make your own. Mix 1 tsp. isopropyl alcohol with 1 cup water in a container. Dip a cloth into the solution and wring it out.

3. Wipe the LCD screen with the microfiber cloth to remove dust and smudges. Use gentle pressure, and use long vertical or horizontal strokes to prevent streaking.

4. Dry the screen with a clean microfiber cloth. Apply the same motion used to clean the screen.

5. Wipe off the television frame, stand and buttons to remove dirt and dust. Use a clean microfiber cloth dampened with LCD cleaner or the homemade solution.

6. Dry the television frame, stand and buttons with a clean microfiber cloth.

7. Plug in the television.
